Let’s Play Outside

After a long day of work I finally decided that I wanted to set a goal for myself. After being sick for the last few days I realized how frustrating it was to have to be inside all day not just for me but I’m sure my dog (Chief) was feeling the same way. I’m going to plan a Hiking trip with my husband, I want to be able to climb without any hesitation. Thats going to be my goal. I want to be a lot more comfortable with my weight and to achieve that I enrolled to a closer gym. Im excited I’m putting my new Merrells to use that were given to me by a wonderful friend of mine. (Thank you Teila, they fit me just right, Can’t wait to use them.) I’m Looking forward to this summer!

Music Is My Best Friend

Swollen Tonsils, crazy ear ache, and a fever. Who would have thought the day after Christmas I would have gotten this sick. Oh well it is what it is right? These were a few of my top favorite artist to keep my spirit up and only a few more weeks till I’m re-united with my one and only. Music is Love!

Drafting Table Anyone?

School’s out, well at least for now it is. I just finished my 3rd (technically 4h year) for the Civil Engineering program at SMU. It hasn’t been all that easy but I would say I’ve done quite well. I’ve been putting off for quite some time now and I’ve decided I’m going to start my hunt for a drafting table. Its started out to be a Wonderful Tuesday and the no rain just ads to the beauty of it:)

Oh Joy!

Morning jog with Chief, cleaning, work, shopping, airport, traffic, four hours of sleep, and then comes my cup of Jo. My mom always said find the joys in life and Coffee is one of my Joys especially on a Monday. With Christmas around the corner we don’t take the time to for ourselves to think of all the things we have accomplished throughout the year. The week has started out quite well and I’m getting butterflies in my stomach for the holidays. This year I will be sharing it with only a few people but very important to my heart.

It is extraordinary times that we find ourselfs in. Change is now an entrenched way of life………. The way we live, do business, and even shop is undergoing rapid change. Living Successfully is now about keeping up, staying ahead or staying on top of things. IT IS HARD WORK. We live our lives in the fast lane with one eye on the road ahead and the one eye in the rear view mirror sort of glancing at the scenery as we leave it behind. Despite the fact that many couples today live in the fast lane they can still have fulfilling relationships with their partners. My husband Kyle is currently a part of the United States Army and i beleive that It takes effort and creativity to nourish our relationship. We have both been through some crazy times in just a matter of months.

I guess what Im trying to say is that I am very fortunate to have the person that I love sharing his life with me. And a perfect day for me would consist of spending quality time with our families.
